Workshop 4: Validation Testing

Project #4

SUS CALCULATION

Focus: User Feedback and Usability
Timeline: Week 12-14

The System Usability Scale (SUS) calculation is a standardized, 10-item questionnaire method designed to provide a quick, reliable, and quantitative measure of a product's perceived ease of use. So, this part was to look into our feedback of user either our application is easy to use and understandable or not.

In week 12 until week 14, we have made a testing phase for our mobile application to users by using the System Usability Scale (SUS). We have given out to users 10 questions that related to our functionality in our application by using google form to see what their feedback towards our application is, whether the app is user-friendly and easy to use or not.

By looking at their feedback, it can tell us what parts make users love to use the application and what parts are needed to improve. So from here we can improve our apps to be better apps for user uses. After looking at their feedback, we have made a SUS calculation to see how good our app was in terms of usability.

Feedback & Graphical Representation

We also represented the SUS result in a chart diagram. This is because to see it more clearly of the scores and the percentage of SUS calculation results. By using this method, it definitely helps us figure out whether the app is easy to use or not to users.

Conclusion: The result shows that our application is okay for users to use and easy to understand. With 75% of users rating the experience as "Good" or "Excellent" (Grade A/B), the usability testing validates that the platform matches the user expectations.
